Welcome to the ANU College of Physical Sciences

The Australian National University introduces two new colleges: ANU College of Medicine, Biology and Environment and ANU College of Physical Sciences.

Formed from the ANU College of Medicine and Health Sciences and ANU College of Science, the two new Colleges will strengthen strategic planning and better align research expertise and teaching disciplines.

The ANU College of Physical Sciences (CoPS) comprises the Schools of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences & Engineering.

The ANU College of Medicine, Biology and Environment (CMBE) brings together biological, clinical, population health and environmental sciences in four schools: the John Curtin School of Medical Research, the School of Biology, the School of Health and Psychological Sciences and the Fenner School of Environment and Society.

These two dynamic new Colleges will build on our existing strengths within health and sciences, and we look forward to the opportunities they will provide for continuing excellence in both research and teaching at ANU.
