In a recent review of physics at ANU it was decided that, in an effort to strengthen the links between research and education at all levels, The Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering and the Department of Physics should be merged as soon as possible. The new ANU Research School of Physics and Engineering is being formed from these two areas.
